Description

This is the north end of the Nick Eaton Trail at the Gorton Creek Trail. A short distance from the junction is the high point on Nick Eaton Ridge, just to the west of the trail. There's a tall cairn of andesite slabs marking the spot.

Only the upper half mile of the Nick Eaton Trail was unaffected by the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire.
