Nick Eaton-Casey Creek Way Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Nick Eaton Ridge near the junction after the Eagle Creek Fire (2017) (Don Nelson)
What's left of the sign at the junction after the fire (bobcat)

The steep Casey Creek Way Trail joins the Nick Eaton Trail here, the latter undulating along the ridge crest north and south of the junction. Near the junction, there are a couple of viewpoints over the Gorton Creek drainage. The area around the junction was severely burned during the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire and the junction is difficult to find. The original sign is now a charcoal board still attached to its now dead tree.
