  • Share Sparrow Park Road with ORVs and monster trucks.

Driving Directions

From Florence:

Drive Highway 101 south.

Drive Highway 101 south. From the north end of the Siuslaw River Bridge, continue 16.8 miles.

Turn right onto unpaved Sparrow Park Road, and drive 3.3 miles. (This road has massive potholes and is unsuitable for small passenger cars.)

Pull off to the right into a muddy pullout that fits two or three vehicles. (There was no trail sign as of early 2022.) If you see a Vehicle Closure sign at an old logging road on the right, you’ve gone too far.

From Reedsport:

From the intersection of Highway 101 and Umpqua Avenue (Highway 38) in Reedsport, drive north on Highway 101 for 4.0 miles.

Turn left onto unpaved Sparrow Park Road, and drive 3.3 miles. (This road has massive potholes and is unsuitable for small passenger cars.)

Pull off to the right into a muddy pullout that fits two or three vehicles. (There was no trail sign as of early 2022.) If you see a Vehicle Closure sign at an old logging road on the right, you’ve gone too far.
