Mowich Butte

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Mt. St. Helens from Mowich Butte (bobcat)

From the old lookout site at the top of Mowich Butte, there are great views down to the Trout Creek valley and to Mount Saint Helens (hiding behind Soda Peaks), Mount Rainier, and Mount Adams. On the hike up the Mowich Butte Road, you can get vistas south to Mount Hood and closer peaks such as Table Mountain and Three Corner Rock.

The lookout here, an L-4 cabin, was erected in 1937 and demolished in the 1960s.
