NOTICE: As of 11/13/2023 this trail and parking area will be closed for the replacement of two bridges and the construction of steps to a viewpoint along the trail. The duration of the closure is weather-dependent, and OSP does not have an expected reopening date. Please check with Oregon State Parks before you plan your visit.

Driving Directions

From Portland, drive east on I-84 to Exit 28 for Bridal Veil.

After 0.6 miles come to the junction with the Historic Columbia River Highway, and turn sharp right at a Stop sign.

Drive 2.9 miles, and turn left into a signposted parking area before the bridge over Latourell Creek.

Alternatives to Driving

• The services below run between Memorial Day and Labor Day:
• Sasquatch Shuttle (starting at Troutdale or Bridal Veil) stops at several Gorge trailheads between the Portland Women's Forum and Horsetail Falls.
• The Waterfall Trolley runs between Corbett and Ainsworth, stopping at the key trailheads along the way.
