Ladd Creek Crossing on Eden Park Trail

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The lower Ladd Creek Crossing in 2007 (Steve Hart)

This is the lower crossing of Ladd Creek, where the Eden Park Trail crosses it. This creek crossing changes from one year to another when winter storms wash loose sand and ash down from glacial deposits above. By late summer, there's often a hiker-constructed log bridge in place; otherwise, you'll need to rock hop (trekking poles recommended for balance) or ford.
