Driving Directions

Drive I-5 south, and take Exit 228 for Highway 34, Lebanon, and Corvallis.

Turn left after exiting for Lebanon, and drive 5.6 miles to where the highway splits.

Keep left for the Truck Route North, and go 2.6 miles, following the signs for Highways 20 and 34 in Lebanon.

Turn right onto Main Street/Highway 20 for Sweet Home, and go 39.9 miles, passing through Sweet Home and continuing on Highway 20.

Past Milepost 52, turn left at an old garage onto gravel FR 2041. After 0.9 miles, stay left at the junction with FR 2043.

Continue up 7.0 miles to a six-way junction, and keep straight (third road on the right) to stay on FR 2041. (Drive slowly from this point on as punctures are frequent!)

After 0.4 miles, keep left at the 625 spur road.

In another 1.4 miles, stay left at the 640 spur and then right at the 515 spur.

Drive 2.4 miles, and arrive at a three-way junction.

Take the middle road here (Spur 646 for the Chimney Peak Trail), and drop 0.6 miles to the parking area at the trailhead.
