Driving Directions
Drive Highway 20 either 12 miles from Sisters or 8 miles from Santiam Pass to a junction with Road 12 where a sign reads "Mt. Jefferson Wilderness Trailheads."
Turn north onto this road and drive 4.3 miles (ignoring a fork and a sign for Round Lake on your left).
Turn left at a "Trailheads" sign and drive 1.6 paved miles.
Turn right onto gravel Road 1230 and drive 4.7 miles.
Then turn left and drive two miles to the trailhead at road's end.
