Yale and 2nd Trailhead

Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Drive I-205 north to Exit 27 for Highway 14, Vancouver, and Camas.

Leaving the freeway, drive 0.8 miles, keeping left for Camas, to merge with Highway 14E.

Take Highway 14E for 13.9 miles to Exit 14W for Union Street and 2nd Street.

Drive 0.3 miles and at the traffic circle, take the second exit onto Frontage Road.

Drive another 0.4 miles to another traffic circle, and take the fourth exit onto 2nd Street/Port Street.

After about 150 yards, come to another traffic circle and take the first exit onto C Street.

Drive 0.1 miles, and turn left onto 3rd Street.

Go 0.4 miles and make a left onto NE 2nd Avenue (If you cross the Washougal River, you've gone too far).

Drive 0.2 miles and continue straight into the gravel parking area.


Alternatives to Driving

  • C-TRAN Bus #92 runs along NE 3rd Avenue and Evergreen Highway/E Street. Get off south of the Washougal River Bridge near 2nd Avenue and walk four blocks west on 2nd to access the trailhead.

Fees and Regulations

  • Park hours 7:00 a.m. to dusk.
  • Port-a-potty at trailhead.
  • Dogs are permitted on leash.
  • Trails may be closed at times of high water.
