- Port-a-potties at trailhead
- Dogs on leash in state park area (south of the trailhead)
- Cars can drive and park on the beach in state park area
Driving Directions
From Beaverton, drive about 15 miles west on Highway 26 and go left on Highway 6 for Banks and Tillamook.
Drive 51.9 miles on Highway 6.
At the junction with Highway 101 in Tillamook (second traffic light), turn left for Hebo and Newport.
Drive south on 101 for 11.3 miles and then make a right turn onto Sandlake Road for the Sand Lake Recreation Area, Tierra del Mar and the Three Capes Scenic Route.
Drive 4.5 miles to a Stop sign and make a sharp left.
It’s another 5.7 miles to a parking area on the right just past the last house in the community of Tierra del Mar.
