Driving Directions

Drive I-84 east to Exit 13 for 181st Avenue and Gresham. After exiting, turn right onto 181st Avenue.

Go 0.4 miles and turn left onto Halsey Street.

Drive 1.0 miles to the intersection with 201st Avenue.

Turn right, and drive 0.2 miles and turn left onto Holladay Street for Salish Ponds Elementary School.

Go 0.1 miles to a Stop sign and continue to parking areas on the east side of the school grounds facing the wetlands.

Alternatives to Driving

  • Tri-met Bus #77 runs along N.E. Halsey Street. Get off at Halsey and 201st and walk a couple blocks south on 201st to turn left into the elementary school grounds.

Other Notes

  • IMPORTANT:The parking area is available to the public after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends. However, it is usually not full even during school hours. If it does happen to be full, you can park on Glisan east of 201st.
  • To extend your walk, go west and out the elementary school entrance, cross 201st to Holladay, and begin the Gresham-Fairview Trail Hike.
