Round Lake

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Campsite at Round Lake (bobcat)
View of Round Lake (bobcat)

Description

Round Lake is a small ten-acre lake tucked away on the west slope of Rhododendron Ridge above the East Fork Collawash River. There are a handful of walk-in campsites near the north and east shores of the lake with a couple of functional outhouses. The campsites have rather dilapidated picnic tables. The lake is stocked with trout. There is a two-fish per day limit.

In recent years, a beaver family has taken up residence in the lake. They've built a lodge and a dam and raised the water level of the lake.
