Description

Double Falls on Hullt Creek is accessible on a side trail leaving the Canyon Trail midway between Lower North Falls and Drake Falls. Officially listed at 178 feet, it's the tallest waterfall in Silver Falls State Park, one foot taller than South Falls! There are two tiers and the lower drop is much taller than the upper.

Double Falls is visible from the Canyon Trail on the Hullt Creek Bridge and this tree-filtered view is one of the few places to get a decent view of the upper drop. A closer view is found be hiking a scant 1/10 mile up the Double Falls Trail.

Double Falls shrinks to a trickle in the late summer and early fall.
