Description
The Sugarloaf is a prominence to the west of Mount Mitchell with sheer weathered columnar cliffs on its north face and a large rock pinnacle (Peak 3683) on its south side. Most of the Sugarloaf is stunted coniferous forest with a bear-grass understory, but there are also small exposed meadows on the north and south sides. The summit is viewless.
