Driving Directions

From I-405 going north, take Exit 3 for Highway 30W and St. Helens.

Keep left and then in the center lane for 1.0 miles under an overpass to the traffic light at Yeon Avenue and Nicolai Street.

Keep straight here for 7.7 miles (Yeon Avenue becomes St. Helens Road after 2.0 miles), and turn left onto Newberry Road after passing through Linnton.

Wind up 1.6 miles to the northern terminus of the Wildwood Trail. It’s best if you continue up the road to turn around and pull off to the right near the trailhead facing downhill.

NOTE: As of 2017, a washout has closed lower Newberry Road, so you will need to reach the trailhead via Skyline Road:

From I-405 going north, take Exit 3 for Highway 30W and St. Helens.

Keep left and then in the center lane for 1.0 miles under an overpass to the traffic light at Yeon Avenue and Nicolai Street.

Keep straight for 4.8 miles on Yeon Avenue which, after 2.0 miles, merges with St. Helens Road and then passes under the St. Johns Bridge.

Turn left for Germantown Road and then make a very sharp right uphill to follow Germantown Road.

This road winds up for 2.0 miles to a junction with Skyline Boulevard.

Turn right here and follow Skyline for 2.6 miles to the junction with Newberry Road.

Head down Newberry Road for 0.6 miles, and pull off to the right near the trailhead.
