Driving Directions

From the east side of Estacada, at the junction with Highway 211 for Molalla and Woodburn, keep straight on Highway 224 for the Upper Clackamas River and North Fork Lake.

Drive 9.4 miles along the Clackamas River and make a right turn on Memaloose Road (FR 45). Keep to this rather narrow and rough paved road as you wind up. You will pass several target practice areas and three gravel roads leading off 45.

After 11.3 miles, come to a fork with FR 4550 and go right on FR 45, which becomes gravel here.

Descend for 1.0 miles and find a pullout on the left before the road crosses Memaloose Creek.
