Description
Fees / Regulations
Lost Lake has been a popular tourist destination for over a century, offering hiking, boating and fishing in one of the most photographed spots in the world. The area is understandably busy, and a $6 fee is required to park here for those who do no have a Northwest Forest Pass. There are several restrooms, a general store and overnight lodging, in addition to a public campground and picnicking - so visitors have many options for exploring the area. Hikes from the trailhead range from the easy Lost Lake Loop Hike to the somewhat more strenuous climb up the Lost Lake Butte Hike, and finally, the very strenuous Buck Peak Hike.

* $9 entry fee (Northwest Forest Pass not accepted)

This trailhead page actually represents various locations throughout the Lost Lake Resort area, since there are a bunch of trails through the campgrounds and various natural places to start and stop your hikes. See this campground map furnished by the Lost Lake Resort to get a better idea of what the network of trails looks like.  This map is furnished by request at the camp store:  Map and Directions
