Driving Directions
From Portland:
Drive I-5 South to Exit 294 for 99W, Tigard and Newberg.
Keep on 99 West through Tigard, Sherwood, Newberg and Dundee for 22.9 miles and then turn left onto Highway 18 for Dayton and the Oregon Coast.
Drive all the way on Highway 18 (52.7 miles). Before Highway 101, there’s a junction where cars going north peel off to the right for Neskowin and Tillamook.
Drive 0.7 more miles and merge with Highway 101 South.
Drive 70.0 miles through Lincoln City and then Newport, crossing the Yaquina Bay Bridge to pass through the communities of Seal Rock, Waldport, and Yachats as well as the turnoff for Cape Perpetua.
Turn right for Heceta Head Lighthouse and drive down for 0.3 miles into the main parking area at Devils Elbow Beach. There is more parking on the east side of the highway near Cape Creek.
