Driving Directions
Drive I-84 east and take Exit 44 for Cascade Locks and Stevenson.
Keep right after exiting and, 0.4 miles from the freeway, turn right for Stevenson and the Bridge of the Gods Toll Bridge.
Drive 0.7 miles, paying the $1 toll and crossing the Bridge of the Gods, and turn right onto Highway 14 East for Stevenson and Kennewick.
After 5.9 miles on Highway 14, turn left onto the Wind River Road for Carson and the Wind River Recreation Area.
Drive north on this highway for 14. 5 miles to a 90-degree turn on the Wind River Road (straight takes you to Government Mineral Springs).
In another 0.6 miles, turn right onto FR 3062 for the Falls Creek Trails.
Drive 1.1 miles on this gravel road and keep left at the junction with FR 056.
Keep to the main track and come to a junction after another 0.9 miles. Go right here on FR 057 for the Lower Falls Creek Trail #152A.
In 0.4 miles come to the roundabout at trailhead parking.
Other Notes
While this trailhead may be accessible during mild winters, a gate on the 3062 road indicates that it is closed from Dec 1st- April 1st. The gate is located 1 1/2 miles from the trailhead.
