From John Day drive west on Highway 26 for 18.1 miles to Fields Creek Road (aka Road 21). Drive south on this road for 9.9 miles to the junction of Road 2150. Follow 2150 for 5.9 miles to the trailhead on the right. Turn left onto the gravel spur road there, where you will immediately find parking on the left.

Driving Directions

From John Day, drive west on Highway 26 for 18.1 miles to Fields Creek Road (FR 21), and turn left.

Drive south on this road for 9.9 miles to the junction of Road 2150.

Follow 2150 for 4.3 miles, and keep left at a junction.

Still on FR 2150, continue 1.1 miles and bear right and uphill at another junction.

After 0.6 miles, turn left onto the gravel spur road opposite a sign for the Cedar Grove Trail #203A. You will immediately find parking on the left.
