The open slopes of Bachelor Mountain provide panoramic views of the Central Oregon Cascades (cfm)

Description

Bachelor Mountain is the site of a former fire lookout building, destroyed in 1967. Evidence remains of a large 1970s burn which occurred on the eastern side of the mountain. The resulting open slopes on the route provide terrific views of the Cascades.
