Driving Directions
Drive I-5 south to Exit 253 for Highway 22, Detroit Lake and Bend. After exiting, turn left at the traffic light onto Highway 22.
Keep to this highway for 22.2 miles before making a left turn onto North Fork Road S.E. for the Elkhorn Recreation Area.
This road heads along the Little North Santiam River for 14.9 miles before you turn right onto Elkhorn Road S.E (FR 201).
Drive 0.6 miles up this gravel road and park in a trailhead parking area on the left.
