Tygh Creek is rather small here and can be hopped across quite easily. The larger challenge is successfully making the cutoff between the Little Badger and Tygh Creek Trails using the abandoned Tygh Creek Way #460A. There is a large amount of blowdown on the way trail, but if you reach the creek crossing, you are 7/8ths of the way to the Tygh Creek Trail coming from the Little Badger Trail. Angle up the slope to your left. If you lose the trail, keep rising until you intersect the Tygh Creek Trail, which runs just below the ridge crest in this area.
