Description
At 254 feet, Golden Falls is the third-highest waterfall in Oregon's Coast Range after Munson Creek Falls and nearby Silver Falls. Glenn Creek plunges over a sandstone lip into the box canyon below. You can take a trail to see Golden Falls from below and then hike the old auto stage road along a cliff to the lip of the waterfall.
Golden Falls were named after Dr. C.B. Golden, first Grand Chancellor of the Knights of Pythias of Oregon, and one of the first visitors to the falls.
