Driving Directions

From north of Bend:

From the intersection of Highways 20 and 97 north of Bend, drive south for 23.5 miles, passing through the city of Bend and bypassing the turnoff for Sunriver.

Turn right for LaPine State Park (LaPine State Recreation Road) past MP 160. Drive 3.8 miles, passing the park entrance sign, to a four-way junction.

Turn right here for the Big Tree and drive 0.7 miles on a gravel road to the trailhead.
