The lower crossing of Big Indian Creek (bobcat)

Description

The crossing is almost two miles from the Big Indian Trailhead. Until the designation of the Steens Mountain Wilderness in 2000, ATVs and AWD vehicles could drive the jeep track that is now the trail to this crossing. In spring and early summer, this is a ford so bring water shoes and/or trekking poles for stability.
