Bedsprings Camp

Description

At mile 7.8 is Bedsprings Camp. There is a road leading down to a toilet and several camping spots.

Just before the road down to the camp, you'll see the ramps that led to a small trestle that bridged the wash here until 2015, when it was dismantled. A railroad car was also stationed along the tracks here and was removed about the same time.

The Rattlesnake Grade Road heads east from here up the wash to join the Gordon Ridge Road. If you are camped at Bedsprings Camp, then this is a good morning or evening walk.
