Three Sisters Loop

Post by subra1228 » August 3rd, 2017, 3:31 pm

HI,
We're heading to do the Three Sisters Loop in a couple weeks - anyone have any trail reports? Last I heard, there was still some snow on the west side. How bad are the mosquitoes?

Thanks& happy trails!

I was up at Golden Lake last weekend and the bugs weren't to bad. There were some mosquitoes but only ended up with about 4 bites. Up to the lake there wasn't any snow on the trail. Couple weeks ago I did Matthieu lakes and didn't see any bugs, but there was a nice breeze. I hike up the PCT to the Scott trail cut off and snow wasn't an issue. I would suspect you will have little problem with snow doing the loop.
