12/5/16 Snow day at Silver Falls

Jim, Mary Ann and I took a ride out to Silver Falls today and if you ever get the chance to go when it snows you realllllly should. It looked like this... :)

And the other bonus is you have it to yourselves. We started at South Falls, saw one group of two at North Falls and one other group of two up on the Rim Trail coming back. Damn crowds are just so annoying.... :lol:

Thanx... :) It was pretty amazing just to watch it as we were walking and really hard to focus on looking at the trail. If you can time it right it's a pretty special place in the snow. And you'll have it to yourself, especially on a weekday.
But if it gets too deep or icy around the falls they will close the trail down into the canyon.
