I don't know where this is, but I could easily imagine this scene on Mt. Hood or Mt. St. Helens.

Luckily it appears the group leaders were aware of the hazard and were passing group members across the hazardous spot in an organized way.

one was swept away.

The video text reads that they were aware of the danger and had a guide watching to give warning if it started to go while crossing, that's how they all go out so quickly.

Wow so THAT's how those gnarly canyons on the Loowit Trail near Sheep Canyon were formed. AMAZING video!

It appears they didn't all get out, now the group is separated. That is really terrifying, and they are fortunate no one was swept away.
