Thanks for your inquiry. We are working on getting this proposal, along with others, posted to our projects page. We’ve been short staffed lately, but now have some additional help, so we hope to get projects posted soon.

Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you.

labor alluded. But then, bureaucratic process. It's a public agency and a project affecting the public's use of public land. The public is going to have far less impact from a remote volcano monitoring station than from running a commercial operation leasing land in area that is the nexus of use in spring for those accessing Mt. Adams. Byzantine rules are absolutely something to critique. Perhaps why there's concerted national effort to address 'junk fees', like 'junk rules' - things that negatively impact the public.

That's astray here but I still think fair to critique, the FS isn't doing a good job here only putting such an announcement on an email distribution list, and there's no excuse why the same wouldn't be posted on their nearly spam-worthy Facebook site.

If they can post about world chocolate day, certainly they can at a minimum let the folks on social media know about a proposal. Just like they post job listings on their social media.. what's the excuse for not doing this? Incompetence, apathy, or dysfunction?
