Welcome Creek Crossing

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

(Redirected from Knob Rock Creek Crossing)
Small waterfall on Knob Rock Creek (bobcat)

Description

There are two creek crossings in rapid succession as you walk the Elk Lake Creek Trail just east of the Elk Lake Creek-Welcome Lakes Trail Junction. The first is Knob Rock Creek, which spills down from its source on the south slope of Knob Peak. The second crossing is of Welcome Creek, whose source is the West Lake Basin. Both crossing are bridgeless and a little care must be taken in times of high water.
