East slope of East Zigzag Mountain

Contents

Description

Where the Burnt Lake Trail reaches the Zigzag Ridge you can glimpse views of the slope up to East Zigzag Mountain. You can see this slope from Paradise Park, Yocum Ridge, McNeil Ridge and other places on Mount Hood.

This picture is taken about 0.1 mile East of where the Burnt Lake Trail comes up from Burnt Lake joining the Zigzag Mountain Trail. There is a nice flat area here where you could camp.
