View of East Zigzag Mountain from lower Yocum Ridge Viewpoint

Contents

Description

On the Yocum Ridge Trail, at mile 4.8 (from Ramona Falls Trailhead) is a nice viewpoint.

It's just before the first switchback (going left). There's a faint trail to the right.

You get great views into the Sandy River canyon, of Mount Hood, and places to the South including East Zigzag Mountain.

There's a small flat area to put a tent. There is no drinking water.

There are few people that go here.
