A small cairn marks the summit of viewless Wygant Peak (bobcat)

Description

A small cairn marks the viewless summit of Wygant Peak. When the trail was originally constructed, the summit offered wide-ranging vistas, but the trees here are now about 50 years old and form a dark canopy. You can descend from here to Wygant Meadow for views down the Columbia River Gorge.
