Driving Directions

There are many options for getting here depending on where you live. These directions are from downtown Portland.

Drive I-5 south and take Exit 294 for Highway 99W, Tigard, and Newberg. In 0.3 miles merge with Highway 99W.

Drive 1.9 miles through Tigard and turn right onto SW Johnson Street after crossing Fanno Creek.

Drive 0.1 miles, and turn right on Grant Avenue.

Go 0.2 miles, recrossing Fanno Creek, and turn left onto Tigard Street.

After 0.2 miles, make a left turn onto SW Katherine Street.

Proceed 0.2 miles to the small parking area for Woodard Park at the end of the road.


Other possible trailheads for the Fanno Creek Tigard Hike are the Tigard Library Trailhead, and these trailheads at:

Englewood Park: park on Ironwood Loop

Main Street in Tigard: park along the street

Tigard City Hall, 13125 SW Hall Boulevard

Fanno Creek House, 13335 SW Hall Boulevard

Alternatives to Driving

Tri-met Bus #45, Tri-met Bus #93 and Tri-met Bus #94 all stop on Tigard's Main Street, from which you can directly access the Fanno Creek Trail.
