Fees and Regulations
From mid-fall into early spring, the gate on the entrance road to the Wildwood Recreation Area is closed. To access the park's trails and also the Boulder Ridge Trail, park in one of the spots to the left of the gate and walk in. There is an interpretive sign for the Barlow Road here, and a remnant of the old wagon trail runs into the woods behind the sign.
- Dogs on leash in the Wildwood Recreation Area
- Don't leave valuables in your car at this trailhead
Driving Directions
From the last traffic light in Sandy, drive Highway 26 for 14.6 miles and turn right into the Wildwood Recreation Area/Cascade Streamwatch.
Park on the left before the closed gate
Note: Sometimes the parking spots before the gate are cabled off even when the gate is closed. In that case, you will have to park on the shoulder of Highway 26.
