Description
Whiskey Creek is the first major campsite from the West end, at mile 3.2.
A nice bridge crosses the creek.
There's a campsite with outhouse just East of the bridge. The area is big enough for several groups. This is the most popular area so you might want to avoid it.
In the 1/2 mile West of the bridge are many areas, between the trail and the river, that would make good campsites with more solitude.
At mile 3.8 is Big Slide camp, with a large area for several groups. There is an outhouse. You could go a little West and find another campsite. This is a bit away from the river so there probably aren't any boaters here. This might be the best choice for a backpack destination for a short backpack trip.
