West Fork Wallowa River-Ice Lake Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Description

The junction is about two and a half miles from the Wallowa Lake Trailhead. Keep left to continue on the West Fork Wallowa River Trail #1820. Go right to take the Ice Lake Trail #1808. Descend to the river and find the single log bridge crossing (the substantial bridge that used to span the river is now gone). There is a rail on one side of the log, so this new bridge is very safe.

On both sides of the crossing, there are areas to camp or stop for a snack.
