Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

From downtown Portland:

Driving I-405 North, take Exit 3 for Highway 30 West and St. Helens.

Keep left, but stay in the middle lane as you travel through an underpass 0.9 miles to the Nicolai Street traffic light.

Keep straight here on Highway 30 for 8.5 miles and make a right turn onto N.W. Sauvie Island Road.

Drive 2.1 miles over the Sauvie Island Bridge to the junction with N.W. Reeder Road.

Keep straight here for 0.4 miles on Sauvie Island Road and pull into the parking area on the left for Wapato Access Greenway State Park.

Other Notes

  • Park hours: 5:00 a.m. - midnight
  • Parking lot closed at 10:00 p.m.
  • Dogs on leash
