Description

This is a trail junction near the upper end of Wahkeena Canyon. When heading up to Devils Rest or out towards Multnomah Creek you have the option of taking either of the two options: Continue up the Wahkeena Trail, which means switchbacking to the right, or take the Vista Point Trail #419 - forking uphill to the left. The two options are roughly the same distance (The Wahkeena Trail is slightly longer) and nearly identical elevation gain. They meet back up again at the Wahkeena-Devils Rest-Vista Point Trail Junction. If you are heading out to Wahkeena Springs or Angels Rest, you'll want to continue on Wahkeena Trail.
