Hey there! Glad you found the Portland Hikers Wiki. We hope this can be a great information tool for folks all over Oregon and SW Washington. If you want to ask questions, make suggestions, or just send general feedback about some of the pages that I've contributed to, then you can click on the "discussion" link on that page.
Me? I've been hiking all my life, starting in the olden days in the Adirondack Mts. back east.
I'm a relative newbie to Oregon but I can't gobble it in fast enough! My experiences learning about the wealth of opportunities out here the past few years here have mainly been my motivation for collaborating on this site. My hope is that collectively we can provide northwest newbies a fast-track to learning about some of the best hikes around, and give long-timers some new and interesting locations they may not have previously seen.
We're always looking for more people to help us with the Wiki, so please feel free to jump in and help! Also, start contributing in the forums - a friendly, open, and decidedly local place to trade ideas, share experiences and keep up on current trail conditions.
