Driving Directions
Drive I-84 east and take Exit 22 for Corbett.
At the Stop sign, turn right for Corbett, the Vista House, and the View Point Inn.
Head up on Corbett Hill Road for 1.3 miles.
At a junction go left and then left again onto Historic Highway 30 for the Vista House, View Point Inn, and Multnomah Falls.
Drive 1.9 miles and bear right on Larch Mountain Road for the View Point Inn.
It’s 14.0 miles up this road to the parking area near the summit of Larch Mountain.
Drive from Portland or Corbett eastward on the Historic Columbia River Highway to just past the Women's Forum Overlook. At mile 22.9, turn right on Larch Mountain Road and drive 14.1 miles to the trailhead. The trailhead is not well marked. Look for a gap in the highway guardrail on a sharp left, hairpin turn just past mile marker 14. This trailhead is typically closed most of the winter and the road is gated halfway down the mountain.
