Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Drive Highway 26 east.

From the last traffic light in Sandy (near the ARCO station), keep going on Highway 26 for another 30.5 miles. After passing through Government Camp and the turnoff for Timberline Lodge, turn right for Trillium Lake.

Drop 0.5 miles to a junction and keep left on the paved road (FR 2656) for the Trillium Lake Campground.

It’s 1.2 miles to the turnoff on the right for the day-use are (Don’t turn at the campground entrance).

Drive 0.2 miles and turn left for day-use.

NOTE: If you don't want to pay for parking, keep driving around and across the dam wall and park off the road above the west shore of the lake.

Fees, Regulations, etc.

  • $5 day-use concessionaire fee (Northwest Forest Pass invalid): May 15th - October 1st

Facilities

  • Restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, campground
