Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Take Exit 3 off of I-405 for Highway 30W and St. Helens. Stay left and in the middle lane for about one mile until you reach the Nicolai Street traffic light.

Keep straight here on Yeon Avenue, which merges with St. Helens Road in 2.0 miles, and drive 5.0 miles.

Turn left (There’s a turning lane) for Germantown Road and then make an immediate left again onto NW Bridge Avenue.

Take the first right onto Germantown Road. Drive up 0.4 miles and turn into a pullout on the left side of the road by a green-gated fire road.

Alternatives to Driving

Tri-met Bus #16 detours onto Bridge Avenue and stops at Springville Road and Germantown Road. The Ridge Trail leads up from Bridge Avenue to Leif Erikson Drive, and the Tolinda Trail begins a little way up Germantown.
