Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Drive Highway 26 east.

From the last traffic light in Sandy, just past the ARCO station, go 31.7 miles through Government Camp and keep left at the junction with Highway 35 for Hood River.

Proceed another 9.4 miles on Highway 26, and turn right onto Skyline Road (FR 42) for Timothy Lake and Olallie Lake.

Drive on Skyline Road for 8.3 miles and turn right on FR 57 for Timothy Lake after passing the

Continue of paved FR 57 for another 3.4 miles, passing turnoffs for several campgrounds on the right.

Bear right at the junction with FR 5740, and drive 0.1 miles to cross the dam wall at the west end of Timothy Lake.

Turn right at the north end of the dam wall, and park in a gravel parking area on the right.
