  • Discover Pass required
  • $2 toll each way at the Bridge of the Gods
  • Best accessed on weekends: there can be intensive logging activity on these roads during the week.
  • There are frequent slides during the wet season on CG 2020.

Driving Directions

Drive I-84 east to Exit 44 for Cascade Locks. Go 0.4 miles after exiting, and turn right for the Bridge of the Gods Toll Bridge and Stevenson.

Drive 0.7 miles, crossing the Bridge of the Gods and paying the $1 toll, to reach the junction with Highway 14.

Turn right here for Stevenson and Kennewick, and drive 0.7 miles to make a left turn for the fairgrounds and Skamania Lodge.

After 0.3 miles, turn left onto Foster Creek Road just after passing the turnoff for Skamania Lodge.

Drive 0.9 miles, keeping left where Foster Creek Road joins Ryan Allen Road, and turn left onto Red Bluff Road.

Follow this road for 0.7 miles before turning left onto gravel CG 2020.

In 0.9 miles, keep left at a Y-junction.

In another 0.9 miles, keep left again and pass under powerlines.

After 3.0 miles, keep left at a fork.

Drive 0.1 miles, and keep right just after a 5-mile marker.

Continue 1.6 miles to a five-way junction.

Keep right on CG 2026 and reach a junction in 0.3 miles. Park here if you don’t have good clearance on your vehicle.

Otherwise, continue left for 0.6 miles to the powerline crossing of the saddle between Table Mountain and South Birkenfeld Mountain.
