Description
Sturgeon Rock is a large basaltic monolith just to the west of Silver Star Mountain. It gets its name from its fin-like appearance when seen from Silver Star. Sturgeon Rock is traditionally known as the high point of Clark County. The rock actually crosses the county border into Skamania County at the point where a cairn sits.
