From I-5, take Exit 30 at Medford, then west on Hwy 230 through Jacksonville to the small community of Applegate.  Just over the gree steel bridge, south (left) on Thompson creek Road Road for 11.9 miles of pavement and another 2.8 miles of good gravel.  Then turn right (west) over a bridge - look for "Steve Fork Trail" signs - then immediately fork left (south) onto FR 1030 for 11 miles of good gravel (clearance generally good for sedans) to a large parking area at road's end.  No amenities at trailhead.

Driving Directions

From I-5, take Exit 30 at Medford, then west on Hwy 230 through Jacksonville to the small community of Applegate. Then turn right (west) over a bridge - look for "Steve Fork Trail" signs - then immediately fork left (south) onto FR 1030 for 11 miles of good gravel (clearance generally good for sedans) to a large parking area at road's end.
