Description

At the trailhead is a parking area and nice outhouse.

There's a day use area with picnic tables.

The Wildcat campground is a Forest Service campground. There's about 16 sites. Fairly busy in the summer. A pump well. It's closed in the winter and you're not allowed to camp there when it's closed.

Driving Directions

From Portland, take highway 26 East past Mount Hood to Prineville, about 140 miles.

Keep going East on highway 26. 9.3 miles past Main Street, to a sign "Wildcat Camp 11". Turn left.

The road is paved about halfway, then good gravel, 11 miles to Wildcat Campground.
